My Dog's Life for the PS2 Review

Dog's Life is a game I grew up with so of course I have crazy nostalgia for it. But is this a good game? Is this a game I recommened to reco-friends? Let's dig (ha!) a little deeper and let me tell you all about the useless Dog's Life trivia I have accumulated over the years. In fact, I know things about this game that no Youtuber is going to show you. Only a six year old with all the time in the world roleplaying as a dog in a computer game can give you this information. So sit down, lie down and roll over and let's go through this experience together.

Normally, we'd start a review with a recap of the story, but that's already available to read about on Wiki so we'll speed through this section. The game starts out with a cutscene. We meet Jake, an American Foxhound who is a time capsule of the era of talking animal media. This is a game about farting and peeing and shaking the fur off of skunks. Let yourself be at peace with this. We then meet Daisy, Jake's love interest. Daisy gets abducted by a red truck, quickly being confronted by Jake who get abducted swiftly after. Jake falls out of the truck, breaks free from his carrier and so sets up our simple plot. Go after Daisy and free her.
